Microsoft has released SR1 (Service Release 1) for Office 2000.
If your platform is Windows 2000, upgraded from Windows NT, the SR1 release has problems. If you already applied SR1, Microsoft is recommending the Microsoft Office 2000/Windows 2000 Registry Repair Utility.
You can also go to the Start menu / Run line and type:
Regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
