JSI Tip 1439. All Windows NT clients simulaneously loose their connection to a WinNT Print Server?

The Windows NT clients will also receive an Illegal Operation message.

To work around this problem, on the Print Server:

1. Start / Settings / Printers.

2. Select a printer and right click, choosing Properties.

3. On the Scheduling tab, click Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster and click Start printing after last page is spooled.

4. Press OK.

5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for each printer.

NOTE: There is no message in the Print Server or client event logs.
