JSI Tip 1383. Error writing to locally attached LPTx, the requested resource is in use.

When printing to a locally attached printer, you receive:

   Error writing to LPT1: for <application name>. The requested resource
   is in use. Do you wish to retry or cancel the job?

When you Retry, the job prints.

To avoid this problem:

1. Start / Settings / Printers / File / Server Properties / Port Tab.

2. Select the printer port (LPTx:).

3. Press Configure Port and set the Transmission Retry to 90 or more.
