I first described DVD support in tip 825.
If you have an ATAPI (SCSI) based DVD drive, that is recognized as a CD-ROM, you can download the freeware UDF reader from Adaptec.
Be sure to see if your drive has been tested.
The UDF reader installs support for UDF 1.5, a supperset of the UDF 1.2 file system, which is used to record DVDROMs.
