JSI Tip 10182. The Markup command is unavailable when you use Ink Annotations?

When you use the Ink Annotation feature in PowerPoint 2003 on Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, and view the presentation in PowerPoint 2002, the Markup command to hide and display markup information is unavailable.

If you only have Ink Annotation in a presentation, PowerPoint 2002 does not see them as a markup change.

To work around this behavior in PowerPoint 2002, add a blank comment:

1. Open the presentation in PowerPoint 2002.

2. On the Insert menu and press Comment.

3. Click anywhere on the slide, but outside the comment box.

4. On the View menu, press Markup.
