JSI Tip 10114. How can I place a Run icon on my desktop or Quick Launch bar?

To place the Run icon on your desktop, so that a double-click will open the Run dialog:

1. Press the Start button and drag the Run icon to your desktop.

2. Right-click the &Run icon and rename it Run.

To place the Run icon on your Quick Launch bar, so that a single click will open the Run dialog:

1. Right-click the taskbar and press Unlock the Taskbar until it is unchecked.

2. Press the Start button and drag the Run icon to your Quick Launch bar.

3. Right-click the &Run icon and rename it Run.

4. Right-click the taskbar and press Unlock the Taskbar until it is checked.
