JSI Tip 0961. Shared Access database is slower on an NT Server than on a W9x computer.

The only way I know of to improve performance of a shared Access MDB on a Windows NT Server is to optimize the server for File Sharing.

Control Panel / Network / Services / Server / Properties / Maximize Throughput For File Sharing

You must restart the server.
