JSI Tip 0695 - Your Send To the Desktop As Shortcut command is missing.

When you invoke a Send To, a missing Desktop As Shortcut entry means that Desktop as Shortcut.DESKLINK file is missing from the SendTo folder of your profile. To create it:

1 Right click the button and click Explore.

2. Double click the SendTo folder.

3. Click File / New / Text Document and type Desktop as Shortcut.DESKLINK.

4. Press Enter and click Yes.

5. Close the Explorer window.

Another way to do this is to open a command prompt and type:

echo > \Path to your SendTo folder\"Desktop as Shortcut".DESKLINK
