IT/Dev Connections Speaker Highlight: Johan Arwidmark

Today's speaker highlight is the very famous, extremely memorable Johan Arwidmark.

Johan is the Chief Technical Architect with Knowledge Factory. He is a consultant, author and all-around geek specializing in Systems Management and Enterprise Windows Deployment Solutions. In addition to his consulting role, Johan present trainings and speaks at several conferences each year, including MMS and TechEd around the world. He is also actively involved in communities like deploymentresearch.com and myitforum.com, and he has been awarded Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for eight years. Johan is known for an energetic and humorous style, tackling complex concepts using simple "Real World" scenarios and lots of live demos. His areas of expertise include: Enterprise Windows Deployment Tools and Solutions, ConfigMgr, MDT, WinPE, USMT, and WDS.

Recently, we asked Johan to give us a little information about himself. Here's what he shared:

WITPRO: Give us a brief introduction to Johan Arwidmark.

Johan: My name is Johan Arwidmark. I'm a Microsoft MVP, I consult, I teach, I speak, and I write. I'm an all-around geek specializing in Systems Management and Enterprise Deployment Solutions.

WITPRO: Describe the sessions you are presenting and why you feel the topic is important.

Johan: All my sessions are in the deployment and management space, I have a huge passion for automation, and love PowerShell.

WITPRO: What should attendees expect to be able to take away from your sessions?

Johan: Real world knowledge, how to implement OS Deployment and Management platforms – Production Ready.

WITPRO: What is your primary reason to be excited about IT Connections?

Johan: Contributing and sharing knowledge.

WITPRO: What is the one key technology you believe is changing IT right now?

Johan: System Center

WITPRO: Who would you suggest Microsoft hire to replace Steve Ballmer as CEO?
