A. Windows 2000 keeps track of the DVD region and after its initial setting you are allowed to only change it once more. Its possible to reset the counter by performing the following registry change:
- Start the registry editor (regedit.exe)
- Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft
- There will be a subkey (the first) of a strange format, e.g. ';t-z% with a single REG_QWORD value
- Select the key and delete

Upon restart you should be able to modify the region again.
