A. To change the number of Page Table Entries (or System Pages) which are used for mapping I/O buffers and other information into the system address space perform the following:
- Start the registry editor (regedit.exe)
- Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
- Double-click SystemPages value and chose Decimal. Enter the amount of PTEs you need in the Data text box. Click OK. The maximum value is 50,000.
- Reboot the computer for the change to take effect.
By default the value is 0 which means use the system default.
