The Lenovo Miix-720 was released earlier this year and it is one of the many devices that are now on the market from OEMs that takes a lot of direction from Microsoft's Surface hardware line.
Now that is no coincidence or an issue for Microsoft as it is part of the reason why they started building Surface devices and they said that along the way. Providing a baseline for OEMs to build upon is exactly what the company had in mind. As someone who used to work in retail selling computers the quality of these devices compared to a few years ago is many levels above the plastic cases we used to have on store shelves.
This is my first opportunity to check out one of these Surface Killers as they are often described and I am impressed with the build quality and appearance of the device.
