The Find tab of Windows help does not work.

A. If when selecting the Find tab of Windows help you receive error:

Unable to display the find tab.(177) 

This is caused by an OEM installation and to remedy perform the following:

1. Start Explorer
2. Move to %systemroot%\Help
3. Rename the Supp_ed.cnt and Supp_ed.hlp files (to a name without .cnt or .hlp as an extension)

If the problem persists also rename the update.cnt file in the %systemroot%\Help folder (again to something without .cnt extension) and delete the hidden Windows.gid file (which will be recreated automatically).
