We've had Exchange Server 2007 Unified Messaging (UM) running for a couple of months in the Penton Media offices where Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine are produced. I've quickly become a big fan of having missed calls, caller ID information, and voice messages appear in my Microsoft Outlook Inbox as well as being able to access my email along with voicemail over the phone.
If you're getting ready to go online with Exchange 2007 UM, Windows IT Pro's ITTV.net video site has some videos from Exchange Server expert and Windows IT Pro contributor J. Peter Bruzzese. Peter's "Configuration of Unified Messaging" series includes three videos. In part 1, he covers the features of Exchange 2007 UM and in parts 2 and 3, he takes you step by step through configuration of unified messaging in easy-to-follow screencasts. You can see all three videos below as well as on ITTV.net.
