The document map

The document map is an outline of your document that allows you to navigate your document. It is generated automatically using outline levels.

• Choose View → Document map.

  or

  Click the Document Map button.

You can:

• Click elements in the document map to navigate to those locations.
• Expand and collapse the document map using the + and - buttons in the map.

To close the document map, do one of the following:

• Choose View ? Document Map.
• Click the Document Map button.
• Double-click the split between the document map and the document.
