Do I still need to use the /console switch with Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista Terminal Services?

A. With Windows 2003, you could expressly connect to a Terminal Services session attached at the console, which was always session 0. With Server 2008 and Vista, no interactive user sessions ever run as session 0. Session 0 is now reserved for the functioning of certain services. The /console switch no longer does anything. Although there's still a session for the physically attached keyboard, mouse, and monitor, it has no special abilities beyond that of a remote session, and its session number will vary
