On the Start Menu tab, choose "Classic Start menu"; and D—Run the Control Panel Start Menu applet and select the Start Menu tab. Choose "Classic Start menu." If your users don't feel comfortable with XP's GUI, you can easily give them an interface that they're used to.

Answer to Question 2
The correct answers are C—Right-click My Computer and select Properties. Select the System Restore tab, Select the "Turn off System Restore on all drives" check box; and F—Launch the Control Panel System applet and select the System Restore tab. Select the "Turn off System Restore on all drives" check box. From the System applet's System Restore tab, you can easily disable System Restore on all hard disks.

Answer to Question 3
The correct answer is A—From the Control Panel, select Classic View and launch the Regional and Language Options applet. Select the Languages tab and, under "Text services and input languages," click Details. Then, under "Installed services," click Add and set the "Input Language" to Russian. Make sure that "Keyboard layout/IME:" is set to Russian. You must enable Russian-language input for Olga's keyboard because Russian keyboards have a different layout than American keyboards. To do so, you must launch the Control Panel Regional and Language Options applet. You can then switch the input method between one keyboard layout and another. After you install more than one language in XP, an icon appears on the taskbar in the system tray. The icon is usually blue and displays two characters that specify the current language setting (e.g., EN for English, RU for Russian). To switch to another language, open an editable document and click this icon. From the list of installed input languages that appears, select the language you want. For the Windows dialog boxes and menus to appear in another language, you must install a multilanguage pack, which you can purchase from Microsoft.
