Apple Sells Out Holiday Supply of 1GB iPod shuffles

Looks like Microsoft isn't the only company with a sold-out hit on its hands this holiday season. Apple Computer announced last week that it has sold out of its stock of 1GB iPod shuffle MP3 players and won't be making more in time for Christmas. In fact, Apple might not be making more at all: According to reports, the computer maker/electronics giant is getting ready to replace the iPod shuffle lineup with a new version of the player that's even smaller than the current units. The new iPod shuffle will allegedly be introduced at MacWorld San Francisco in January, and could come in multiple colors. Bet you're wishing you waited to buy one, eh
