Microsoft Announces New HoloLens Roadshow Dates

There is only one way to truly understand the power of Microsoft's HoloLens and that is to try the device out.

I have had two opportunities over the last 18 months to do this at Microsoft BUILD 2015 and and again at BUILD 2016.  I walked away with concerns about the device in 2015 with the limited demo and the Field of View however, the more in depth experience that I had this year at BUILD changed that perspective for me and I now believe in the impact this mixed reality device will have in so many industries.

There has been plenty written about HoloLens since it was first unveiled in January of 2015 and recently it was selected for Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award.

Now it is your turn to try HoloLens and understand more about the ground breaking device. Microsoft is going to bring that opportunity to additional people around the US and Canada by offering another series of road shows to introduce customers to HoloLens.

Although these individual sessions are only 15 minutes long, the opportunity to try out HoloLens and see the possibilities yourself will be very valuable.

Here are the sessions and locations that are currently on the road show schedule:

September 15th to 18th

Palo Alto, CA

Mississauga, ON

September 22nd to 25th

Mission Viejo, CA

Calgary, AB

September 29th to October 2nd

Dallas, TX

Boston, MA

October 6th to 9th

Houston, TX

Tysons Corner, VA

October 13th to 16th

Chicago, IL

Atlanta, GA

October 20th to 23rd

Bloomington, MN

Orlando, FL

The events are being held in the Microsoft Store's in each of the above locations. Just click on the city name to get to the registration page and to read the FAQ that Microsoft has made available for these events.

If you are close to one of these locations do not miss your shot at trying out HoloLens but do it quickly as these slots tend to fill up quickly.

But, wait...there's probably more so be sure to follow me on Twitter and Google+.
