Answer to Question 1
The correct answer is B—disable quokka. The RC lets you disable problematic services or drivers. If you can't boot your system, using the RC is one way to get you back on track. You can use the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) to reactivate services.
Answer to Question 2
The correct answer is B—Launch the Control Panel Power Management applet, select the Advanced tab, and change the setting "When I press the power button on my computer" to Do Nothing. You can set several options for the power and sleep buttons, including powering off the system, doing nothing, suspending, or prompting users for direction.
Answer to Question 3
The correct answers are A—Set a time limit for disconnected sessions; B—Set a time limit for active sessions; C—Allow reconnection from an original client only; and D—Terminate a session when time limits are reached. Each option has its uses. If you've used Windows 2000 Server Terminal Services on Win2K Server, for example, you know that setting a time limit for disconnected sessions in remote administration mode is a good idea. If you don't, the two connections that remote administration mode permits can sit idle and active if they accidentally become disconnected, and only an administrator can log in from the console to forcefully disconnect them. You can't use the GPE to disable Terminal Services Sound.
