A: Microsoft held its annual TechEd North America conference in May. At that conference, the company announced two important changes in the support of virtualized instances of Exchange 2010. Microsoft first announced that Exchange 2010's Unified Messaging role is now supported on virtualized servers. They also announced the removal of a configuration restriction on servers hosting Database Availability Groups (DAGs). DAG members are now supported on virtual servers that are members of a failover cluster, such as Live Migration for Hyper-V or vMotion for vSphere.
