I don't recall the date, but at some point earlier this year, I commented to Leo on the Windows Weekly podcast that Amazon.com was a surprising new emerging tech industry giant, alongside such familiar companies as Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Since then, of course, the company has simply continued expanding its reach, and today it offers a fairly compelling media platform with a variety of content types, apps, and even hardware devices.
