Network Applicance Announces New Services

NetApp Availability Assurance is designed for large businesses with a significant existing install base of NetApp filers. The SLA will also support new customers deploying solutions with NetApp storage components. The services are currently available for NetApp F840c and F880c systems.

Network Appliance's goal with these services is to enable organizations to use their equipment in mission-critical applications. "Availability of various services is important to customers, especially as storage becomes such a critical part of everyone's IT budget, and as global data fabrics proliferate and expand, putting extra strain on every point of the IT infrastructure, including scarce IT staff," said Mark Santora, senior vice president of marketing at Network Appliance.
