IBM, Salesforce, Amazon, and Microsoft Lead the Cloud in Annual Report

In its annual report, our sister site, Talkin' Cloud, has gone through the process of ranking the top 100 Cloud providers. The 2014 report is now available, both online and in PDF format, and shows the real winners and losers from the past year.

Amazingly, IBM tops the list, followed the more obvious leaders, Salesforce.com, AWS, and Microsoft. There's some surprises and some unknowns, even in the top 10. Despite reports recently suggesting the company has no clue on Cloud strategy, Oracle sits at number 5. And, who is Workday? I'll definitely be looking further in what Workday offers.

Here's the top 10:

  1. IBM (cloud revenues)
  2. Salesforce.com
  3. Amazon Web Services
  4. Microsoft (online services division)
  5. Oracle (cloud IaaS)
  6. SAP
  7. Google (Cloud/Enterprise)
  8. Citrix Systems
  9. Workday
  10. Rackspace

You can grab the full report in PDF format and sift through each of the companies in the top 100 at the Talkin' Cloud site here: 2014 Talkin' Cloud 100: Top Cloud Service Providers, Aggregators and Brokers
