Q: How do I turn on my Surface RT?

A: The solution I have seen that solves this problem is the following:

1. Connect the Surface RT to power and ensure the power light on the cable is illuminated.
2. Hold down the Surface RT power button for 10 seconds then release.
3. Hold down the Surface RT power button for half a second then release and wait a few seconds.
4. If the device doesn't turn on, repeat step 3.
