Web Seminar: Thursday, October 31st, 2013 @ 12pm ET
With SharePoint 2013, Microsoft continues the tradition of offering an ever increasing array of Enterprise Content Management tools to meet complex business needs. This latest version has convinced many organizations to upgrade from previous versions of SharePoint and competing products. The upgrade process, however, can be a rocky road if the organization hasn’t planned sufficiently.
In this 25 minute presentation, Colin Spence will provide an overview of business and technology challenges involved in migrating legacy SharePoint content to SharePoint 2013 both on-premises and in the cloud. A checklist of items to specifically look for will be provided and the benefits of finding the appropriate tool set called out.
In addition, Tamir Orbach, Director of Product Management at Metalogix, will demonstrate some of the advantages of using 3rd party migration tools to migrate to SharePoint 2013.
In this webinar you will learn:
- The business challenges of migrating to SharePoint 2013
- The technology challenges of migrating to SharePoint 2013
- The advantages of using 3rd party migration products to overcome some of these challenges
