Open Systems, VARs Offer Seminars Open Systems Holdings Corp. launched a series of seminars on TRAVERSE Accounting Business Software for Windows. Geared toward end users, the free seminars focus on the product’s client/server version and are offered in cooperation with TRAVERSE C/S VARs in the United States and Canada. Seminars are currently scheduled to be held in Atlanta, Georgia; Austin and Dallas, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio; Denver, Colorado; Hartford, Connecticut; Indianapolis, Indiana; Los Angeles and San Francisco, California; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Orlando, Florida; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Portland, Maine; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Syracuse, New York; and Toronto, Canada. Most of the seminars will be held at Microsoft district offices, but some will be offered at hotels. TRAVERSE supports Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and Microsoft Jet (Office 2000) databases. TRAVERSE applications include System Manager, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Sales Order, Purchase Order, Bank Reconciliation, Payroll, Job Cost, Project Costing, Bill of Materials/Kitting, and Fixed Assets.
