NETsilicon Strengthens European Presence

Presence NETsilicon is expanding its presence in Germany, adding three design-center partners, three sales and marketing positions, and offices near Munich. The company plans to use its broader base in Germany to expand sales efforts throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The German design-center partners will integrate NETsilicon’s NET+Works product family into customer-specific network products, including offerings from I2SE GmbH, which develops and distributes its own hardware and software products for the embedded-systems market; MESCO Engineering GmbH, which implements research and development projects for the industrial measuring technology and technoscientific software fields; and IXXAT Automation GmbH, which primarily develops industrial and internal vehicle communications systems. "Germany is one of the most important markets for embedded networking,' says Michael Evensen, vice president of NETsilicon’s industrial automation and general manager of EMEA operations.
