Samsung Does It Again, Takes on iPhone 5 Silliness

Samsung took the battle to the heart of Apple fandom silliness late last year in a series of ads targeting the lemmings that line up in front of Apple Stores every time the company releases yet another miraculous new evolution. And now they’re back, with equally fun ads aimed at the poor saps who actually waited in line for an iPhone 5.

These ads are hilarious because they’re so accurate. If you’re not seeing that, sorry, but you are one of those lemmings. My only complaint is that Samsung isn’t using these ads to sell Windows Phones. But I’ll take what I can get.

Here are the new ads.

Choice quotes:

“We’ve been here [in line] for like five hours and it only feels like four!”

“This year, we’re finally getting everything we didn’t get last year!” “Big screen!” “True 4G!” “Yep!”

“When do you think we’ll be able to [mimics NFC tap and share]? On the next one?”

“This phone is like a precious jewel.” “Oooh! I love that!”

“I heard the connector’s all digital! .. What does that even mean?” “Who knows!?” “I’m psyched!!”

“They should have a priority line for people who have waited [in line all] five times.”

You get the idea. Hilarious and accurate.

And just in case you need to laugh even more, don’t forget about the ads from late 2011:
